April 2006 Ministry Momentum Dear Friends of His Church At Work, If you are reading this edition of the HCAW WorkLife Momentum, chances are you have some interest in WorkLife Ministry and helping believers see their work as worship and to live out their faith. I'm a visual guy. The staff here at HCAW will tell you, at some point in many of our conversations I grab a piece of paper--a napkin, a paper bag, the back of a report--and draw a picture of what I am envisioning. This helps all of us better understand what our goals are and what we are seeking to accomplish. As we work with the HCAW Network of WorkLife Churches, it is evident that their efforts to equip and inspire their members to live out their faith at work really takes off when they have a picture of what the results can be! To see a body of believers growing in whole-life discipleship, including their work lives, is a glorious goal and the vision we share! How about your church? What does the "picture" look like? How can you be a catalyst to help equip and commission your church body in their workplaces? Join us as we shape this vision into action! Thank you for your partnership and prayers in the Gospel. Doug Spada, Founder--His Church at Work _____________________________________________________________ Our goal is an additional 70,000 workplace missionaries being deployed in 2006, to influence 1.75 million work associates for Christ, for a cumulative weekly influence from the Network of 3.25 million. But we need your help. Can you help make a leveraged investment in His Church at Work's efforts to reach out, educate and train churches to produce effective WorkLife believers. Each gift will be doubled and help accelerate God's work through HCAW. This grant is only in place until June 30, 2006 so your help now will serve to help many more individuals at work. His Church at Work's Mission is to empower churches to build a sustainable plan and infrastructure in which WorkLife discipleship and outreach can grow and thrive. Transform: v.1) to change in structure, appearance, or character. The goal is not just new ministry activity at your church, but real life transformation. Effective local church WorkLife Ministry changes lives. It touches lives and helps transform them by helping people fulfill Gods dream for what their lives can be. It helps people bring new areas of their heart and life under the Lordship of Christ. Those lives are then a light that shines in the city, drawing all men to the goodness of God. One of the elements that causes WorkLife Ministry to be among the highest leverage efforts of your church is that it is transformational. This transformational process is key to its success. Through WorkLife Ministry:

He believes that the greatest area of Kingdom impact today is the workplace, where most Christians spend the bulk of their waking hours. In addition to providing outstanding WorkLife curriculum, he provides seminars and pulpit teaching on a variety of subjects, including work life In Bill's own words: "If street-level Christians can grasp how simple it is to actually be a witness to their co-workers, and understand how truly interested God is in their daily work, we could see the revival so many of us pray for to break out in our land." _____________________________________________________________ Thank you for your partnership!
